The garbage basket

I remember the first "blog" I ever went to was Pretending Sanity. There I found wonderful things to knit, eat, make, wear, the whole sha-bang. But the one thing that struck me the most was - Things I have found in the Toilet. The wonderful little boy that lives there has a toilet fasination. Well, I have a garbage basket boy. Everything he touchs - go's in the garbage. Now I know I should be thankful that he doesnt take things out of the garbage right, but I have to dig through the garbage to see if there is anything of value he has thrown out without me knowing. Here is a BRIEF list of what I found yesterday, yes one day, in the garbage can.

1. his socks - both of them.
2. his brothers reading book, with banana fingerprints on it.
3. his bottle full of juice with...
4. veggies tales video on top of it.
5.one of the remote controls for the DVD.
6.His spoon from lunch.
7.my left slipper.
8.MY MARTHA MAGAZINE!!!! how dare he.

That is one day - I now have to put the garbage can in the bathtub with the door shut. Sure makes it hard to throw stuff away. So, that was my day yesterday after the dr. office visit - not garbage realated. :)

I have to agree!! We had to start shutting the door to the toity cuz he was throwing bathtub toys in it! But no washcloths thank God!! Have a great weekend Jill and a safe trip. Love you and family.

see not only do I have a toilet boy, but my HUSBAND has a penchant for throwing things away. For instance, once he threw away two brand new nursing bras that were still in the bag. I didn't notice until the trash truck had already come.

It wasn't the VT video or the DVD remote, or even silverware. It was the hard to replace priceless Martha magazine that did it. LOL! You crack me up...

LOL- Thank goodness neither of my boys was particularly intersted in either toliet or garbage.

You should use this to your advantage! Buy him new clean little plastic trash cans. He can put his toys away in them :)

The weirdest thing we ever had flush was half of one of those HUGE pairs of plastic sunglasses. It was the 3rd time in 3 weeks the Roto Rooter guy was here. I'm glad we got passed that stage.

Hello Heidi,
Thank you for your inspiring words and thoughts about us. Everything always works out certain ways for a reason. This is one of the few times that I'm glad that Brian decided to not retire from the guard.

Make sure and keep a journal of all your sons' antics so you can remind them of what they did years from now. This will be excellent material for their future dates and/or wives.

Thank you Heidi, I just did a really spiteful ebay listing. I know that Verizon won't care about this listing and that the chances of the shirt selling are only about 50/50, but I feel good for now! Ha ha. Hope you and your boys are all well.
